In recent developments, it came to our attention that a pangolin was being sold in the village of Inhamizua, located in Beira. The seller was asking for an unusually high price for the animal. It appears that the seller, who has historically purchased from local hunters, is now struggling financially and is actively seeking a buyer.

The pangolin in question was captured in the Coutada 12 - Cheringoma area, underscoring the widespread issue of wildlife exploitation. Currently, five individuals suspected of involvement in this illegal trade are detained in the Police Stations of Beira, awaiting legal proceedings.
